Hello to all the females who have sent their messages of love to me.
Moving onto more music matters. There is indeed a whole lot of rakin going on it seems around the venues in Liverpool. Now to avoid any liable cases towards me or the delightful icliverpool posse I cannot name , names . However it seems I am hearing more and more about venues around this fair city ( Capital of Culture )that bands are been given a raw deal when it comes to getting paid for their efforts. Its well known that playing original music around the city is not a money spinner, by no means. What bands do expect is to at least get their petrol costs covered or a beer at the least. Now I know most of the bands who gig in Liverpool put a hell of a lot of effort into promoting themselves for gigs and spreading the word. A new trend it seems is venues making bands sign contracts before gigging, saying amongst other things they will bring X amount of people, this is a joke and a disgrace. It needs to be nipped in the bud now.I will say to any bands or artists faced with this situation is to look closely at the contract. I will be happy to cast my eye over it if need be and also I will be happy to write a 10 point contract of engagement for the venue to sign - free of charge
