I wish I could start my 2006 entry will hopeful blessings about this year in the city’s unsigned music scene. I am however at a low with what lays ahead. My main concern is with the support in the city from organizations that are here to ' support 'unsigned music. To me it seems a mish mash , a cauldron of lost direction and no one has grabbed it by the scruff of the neck and said ' ok , this is what we are going to do. It will keep plodding along , zig zagging this way and that until probably 2007 and everyone will claim they have been supporting unsigned music since year one. To be honest reader , 2008 wont be a great thing for our music unless it is done correctly and so far i have yet to meet anyone of the bodies in charge who have convinced me they can do it. At this rate 2008 will be like snow falling on Christmas day , it will be wonderful , however come the day after boxing day it will be a field of slush.Please liverpool , can we get something do properly ?
