September

Holy mother of perl , its September already. If you were one of the lucky ones to be at the MM3 gig , you will know what a sucess it was , our thanks to bands who played and people who attended in their numbers. The Matthew Street Festival has passed us by , again the 'New Music Stage ' was well attended, I would have liked more bands to have had the opportunity to play , but alas our input on bands for the stage was ignored.Long may the stage stay at the MSF , but please organsisers , please hear the call of 'outsiders' when looking to create the line up , a lot of people missed out who should not have.

People looking for a real taste of new music in Liverpool should head over to Liverpool Music week in November , a whole week of bands around Liverpool , I will post up venues and dates etc nearer the time.

To have a look at some pictures from the now , infamous MM3 gigs , please go here

Hello-
I have been asked by a mate in Newcastle about a John Lennon solo album `Walls and Bridges` which has a sketch of Newcastle`s 1952 FA Cup winning goal. He had never heard of this album until someone found it in a second-hand record shop. He wants to know how many Liverpool folk are aware of it. Any thoughts?
Regards,
Gordon Williams

Hello to one and all...

I was asked to write a blog by a myspace mate and thought why not... so... Im a singer/songwriter from Yorkshire, recently posted on myspace (www.myspace.com/parksiemusic). I have some songs posted on there but I suppose the main purpose of this bloggage is to post more recent news. New material is currently being worked on and is sounding pretty damn smart... scorches the pants off the older stuff in my opinion so cant wait to get it recorded and out there... Also the search for band members is coming along nicely and I reckon Im pretty close to securing the top guitarist needed!!!

Thats it for now! Check out the myspace page and if you have one then get me added!

All the best

Parksie
